Shirley Hossler, RN BSN

Shirley has 30 years of critical care and emergency nursing experience and has been teaching in EMS programs since 1991. Currently attending the University of Illinois Chicago to obtain her Master's degree in Advanced Practice Community Health Nursing. She is teaching in the EMT -I course at AMT , a lead adjunct faculty member at Illinois Central College in the Health Sciences programs and is an ACLS instructor at Methodist Hospital. Shirley is an impassioned instructor who is dedicated to advancing the profession of Emergency Medical Technicians.

She moved to Peoria 3 years ago and lives with her husband Fred, three parrots and a cocker spaniel.
