Lisa Newell

A full-time certified paramedic at AMT, Lisa has 10 years of EMS experience and over 5 years of teaching experience as an EMS and CPR instructor. Lisa is passionate about teaching and strives to ensure that the new EMTs get off to a confident start. Lisa joined AMT in 1995 as an EMT - Intermediate and continued her paramedic education at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. In 2002, she became the coordinator for Tazewell County's CardioReviver Program. Additionally, Lisa is a CPR Instructor Trainer and coordinates CPR classes for AMT.

Lisa and her husband, Don, live in Tremont with their three teenagers. In her spare time, she coaches both recreational and competitive girls' softball. She enjoys watching her children at their many athletic events.
